Utah football program makes some additions

The following players are now officially part of the Utah football program:

JACKSON BARTON: The 6-foot-7, 265-pound offensive tackle from Brighton High School has enrolled in school early.

KAELIN CLAY: The 5-foot-10, 188-pound wide receiver out of Mount San Antonio (Calif.) College was a mid-year signee.

ALLAN HAVILI: The 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive tackle from Stansbury High School has enrolled early.

JASON THOMPSON: The 6-foot-2, 206-pound quarterback has transferred from Wyoming to join new offensive coordinator Dave Christensen in Utah. The projected starter for the Cowboys this fall has enrolled at Utah and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining after sitting out this year because of NCAA transfer rules.

CHRISTIAN DREWS: The 6-foot-2, 225-pound tight end/linebacker from Ramona (Calif.) High School has walked on as an early enrollee.

Eligible, but not yet enrolled in classes:

TEVIN CARTER: The 6-foot-1, 213-pound defensive back was supposed to play last year after signing out of Los Angeles Southwest College. Academics, however, prevented him from joining the Utes then.
