Runnin' Utes add Viewmont's Wilkinson

Viewmont’s Blake Wilkinson, who averaged 18.7 points, seven rebounds and 1.73 steals per game as a senior, has committed to the University of Utah. The first-team all-stater will join the Utes as a walk-on this season before serving an LDS Church mission. Wilkinson, a 6-foot-7 post player, led the Vikings to the Region 1 title and was the league’s co-MVP. He averaged 14.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.45 steals as a junior.
