Krystkowiak announces Odunsi signing
Anthony Odunsi, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound combo guard from Travis High School (Fort Bend, Texas), has signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Utah.
“We really like Anthony’s versatility, he brings a lot to the table,” Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak said in a released statement. “He is a skilled ball-handler, shooter and defender, who also has great vision and a willingness to pass the ball. Anthony also has unbelievable strength and physical stature for his age, to go with great character. We are really looking forward to his future in this program.”
Odunsi, who committed to Iowa State during the early signing period but was granted a release last month, averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals this past season as a senior. He shot 56 percent from the field.
Butler, Colorado State and Penn State were among the other programs that offered Odunsi.
