LSU transfer signs with Utah
Aaron Dotson, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound transfer from Louisiana State, has signed with the University of Utah.
“We are very excited to have Aaron become a part of Utah basketball,” Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak said in making the announcement. “He is a quality person and a skilled basketball player who has a wealth of Division I experience at the highest level, coming out of the SEC. Aaron is an excellent wing player who we believe can do great things in the future for our program.”
Dotson averaged 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists for the Tigers last season. As a freshman in 2009-10, he had three games with double-digit scoring,
The former Seattle prep star opted to sign with the Utes over offers from Gonzaga, Oregon and Washington State.
