Utes hire SLCC's Norm Parrish

Utah didn’t have to go far to find its new director of basketball operations. New head coach Larry Krystkowiak announced Monday that longtime Salt Lake Community College coach Norm Parrish has been hired to fill the post.

In other news, junior-to-be Shawn Glover has received permission to explore his options to transfer to any school outside of the Pac-12 and beyond the state of Utah. The forward from Cedar Hill, Texas, started 22 games last season. He averaged 6.2 points and 3.2 rebounds.

Utah has received a signed National Letter of Intent from Kareem Storey, a 6-foot, 190-pound point guard from Princeton Day Academy in Maryland.
