Palelei signs with Utah

Utah football has picked up a big signature. Po’u Palelei, a 6-foot-5, 380-pound offensive lineman who played in the 2007 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, will join the Utes this fall after signing a letter-of-intent on Tuesday. He’s currently wrapping up academic work at Salt Lake Community College.
Palelei was an all-stater at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas before playing at Eastern Arizona junior college in 2008.
Palelei has two years of eligibility at Utah.
