Boylen's no comment is baffling

Utah coach Jim Boylen’s decision not to comment on the retirement of Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan is baffling at best. The coaches apparently have a good relationship and it’s odd that Boylen wouldn’t have any sort of public praise for Sloan, who is an icon in the state after 23 seasons at the helm.
It’s hard not to look at it as a lack of connection with the community. Perhaps that’s why attendance is poor and only two Utah kids are on the current roster.
