Spread, or no spread?

It remains to be seen exactly what kind of offense the Utes will run under new offensive coordinator Norm Chow, especially with quarterback Jordan Wynn out until at least May following shoulder surgery. The junior-to-be will miss all of spring ball, but Chow insists he “very much” fits into future plans and has the “It” factor as a quarterback.
The immediate future of the spread offense, though, is less certain.
“If we’re not a good spread team, we won’t run the spread,” Chow said. “If we’re a good spread team, we’ll run the spread. And we need to find that out in a big hurry.”
