White signs with Utes

Official word has been hindered by MAACO Bowl Las Vegas preparations. However, highly touted junior college running back John White did, indeed, sign a letter of intent with the Utes. The Harbor College (Calif.) star rushed for 1,491 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2010 and netted 1,036 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2009. White plans to enroll at Utah in January and is likely the heir apparent to replace Matt Asiata and Eddie Wide as Utah’s primary back next season.
