Typical Tuesday for Utes

It was a “typical Tuesday” practice according to coach Kyle Whittingham. That is, except for the fact that about three dozen little league football players descended the field at the end of practice to get autographs from the players and coaches.
Whittingham said receiver Dexter Ransom, who joined the team late in fall camp, looked good on offense and made some nice catches. “He’s still getting up to speed schematically and assignment-wise, but he had a nice day,” Whittingham said.
The Utes are doing well on the injury front and Whittingham is still lamenting the fact that linebacker J.J. Williams is still out and won’t play this week in Wyoming.
