Utes could be without Wynn, Taylor on Saturday

The 14th-ranked Utes could be without starting quarterback Jordan Wynn and starting center Zane Taylor this Saturday at New Mexico.
Wynn, who did not play in Saturday’s 38-10 win over UNLV, is still considered “day-to-day” with a thumb sprain on his throwing hand.
Taylor, meanwhile, has a sore knee after a UNLV defender rolled on it late in the game.
“Zane Taylor is going to be OK. It’s nothing major,” Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said before adding that optimistically he could be back this week.
“But I wouldn’t say that’s likely,” Whittingham continued while noting that Taylor should be back within the next couple of weeks.
Punter Sean Sellwood and defensive end Derrick Shelby tweaked ankles on Saturday. Both, however, are considered “probable.”
