Typical Tuesday for Utes

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said it was “a typical Tuesday practice.” The 20th-ranked Utes did a lot of install, he explained, learning the game plan for Saturday and polishing it up.
They aren’t taking UNLV (0-1) lightly.
“Anybody, any given Saturday is capable of putting it all together,” Whittingham said while noting that the Rebels only trailed nationally ranked Wisconsin by a 17-14 margin at halftime last week. “So if you’re not ready to play and if you don’t bring your ‘A’ game, then you’re going to get in trouble. So we’ve got to be ready each and every week.”
Adding emphasis to Saturday’s game, he added, is the fact that it represents the first step in accomplishing the team’s No. 1 goal – winning the Mountain West Conference championship.
