Louks hurt in Nevada debut

Former Utah quarterback Corbin Louks, who transferred to Nevada after falling behind Terrance Cain and Jordan Wynn on the depth chart, had a short debut with the Wolf Pack as a starting safety.
According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, Louks will be out 2-4 weeks after spraining his knee and suffering a bone bruise in the first half of Thursday’s 49-24 season-opening victory over Eastern Washington.
On a local note, Nevada plays at BYU on Sept. 25 and hosts Utah State on Oct. 30.
