Wynn day-to-day with sprained thumb

Utah quarterback Jordan Wynn sprained the thumb on his throwing hand in Thursday’s 27-24 overtime victory over Pittsburgh. He’s considered day-to-day as the Utes look ahead to their Mountain West Conference opener against UNLV Sept. 11 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Wynn completed 21-of-36 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns against the Panthers. He was intercepted once.
