Wednesday practice report
It was a hot and sweaty day on the practice fields . . .
Other than that, a rather non-eventual workout Wednesday for the Utah Utes.
“it was a good work day,” head coach Kyle Whittingham said while noting it featured a lot of contact and special teams drills.
When asked if it felt like the season opener with Pittsburgh was just over a week away, Whittingham said it does.
“It’s been a while, it seems, since camp started,” he noted. “So our guys are excited to line-up against someone else.”
Whittingham said the Utes are just “fine-tuning the game plan.”
Quarterback Jordan Wynn had a good day and “was back to his usual self” after a subpar showing Tuesday.
In other news, wide receiver Kenneth Scott had surgery on his ankle and faces a long rehab after a lot of damage was repaired.
