Football camp: Day 12 (PM)

The Utes wrapped up their second-to-last double day with a positive appraisal from head coach Kyle Whittingham.
“It was a good day’s work,” he said while noting Wednesday was productive and that mistakes are getting fewer and fewer. “Which is what we are after.”
Cornerback Lamar Chapman once again drew praise from Whittingham, who also listed wide receiver Reggie Dunn and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga as standouts.
Newcomer Dexter Ransom saw limited action in his first practice. Whittingham said the junior college transfer will be brought along slowly to keep him healthy. The wide receiver, he added, could be ready to contribute in the season opener against Pittsburgh.
