Texas RB chooses Utah

Jarrell Oliver, a 5-foot-9, 193-pound running back from Dulles High School in Sugarland, Texas, is the latest addition to Utah football’s 2011 recruiting class. The senior-to-be made a verbal commitment to the Utes Monday afternoon.
Oliver rushed for 1,049 yards (averaging seven per carry) and 12 touchdowns as a junior. He also caught 15 passes for 115 yards.
Oliver is the program’s first recruiting addition since last week’s Pac-10 announcement.
