Pac-10 announcement on Thursday

No more speculation about the University of Utah’s future. The Utes are officially joining the Pac-10. A formal announcement is scheduled for Thursday at the Board of Trustees meeting at 12:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the gathering on the sixth floor of Rice-Eccles Stadium. The only item on the agenda is the conference issue.
A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m.
A source close to the situation says that Rice-Eccles Stadium will be expanded and the locker rooms upgraded.
