Beadles is a first-team All-American

Left tackle Zane Beadles has become the 14th first-team All-American in University of Utah football history. The senior was honored by the Football Writers Association of America on Saturday.
Beadles joins Carlton Walker (1984), Jordan Gross (2002) and Chris Kemoeatu (2004) as U. offensive linemen to achieve first-team All-America status.
Utah now has a streak of three straight years with a FWAA All-American. Louie Sakoda was honored in 2007 as a punter and in 2008 as a placekicker.
