Plenty in "the Pit"

“The Pit,” where injured players dwell, was pretty full on Wednesday with 10 Utes in the mix.
Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said it was more precautionary than anything else.
“This is the week to get guys healed up,” he said. “If we had to play this week most of those guys would be able to go. We’ll try to get them as healthy as we can and start fresh with them on Monday.”
Offensive lineman Walter Watts joined the “Pit” crew near the end of practice with an ice pack on his left knee. Whittingham didn’t have any immediate details as to the nature of the injury, but noted that it occurred in a non-contact drill.
