Utes pick up another commitment

Perry Jackson, a 6-foot-2, 250-pound defensive end from Sierra College (Calif.), has given the Utes an early commitment. He plans to be a mid-year signee, enroll in school in January and participate in spring ball.
“They have some great coaches at Utah,” said Jackson, who will make his official visit next weekend when the Utes host Louisville.
Jackson made 70 tackles last season and recorded two sacks. He chose Utah over offers from Colorado State, Iowa State and San Diego State.
