Camp update: Friday evening

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said Saturday’s closed scrimmage won’t be judgment day for starting quarterback candidates Jordan Wynn and Terrance Cain. However, after Friday evening’s practice at the baseball field, he did say it would be important.
Whittingham added that the clock is ticking and that some final evaluations have to be made.
As for the second practice of the day, Whittingham said the defensive secondary did a good job.
In other news, punter Sean Sellwood and snapper Patrick Greene were awarded scholarships.
