Misi to be evaluated in the morning

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said that starting defensive end Koa Misi was still in pain hours after being carted off the practice field Wednesday night with what was initially described as back spasms.
A team doctor, however, wouldn’t even venture a guess on the nature of the injury after examining Misi. He’ll be looked at again Thursday morning when things calm down.
“The doctor came over and looked and said we really won’t know anything until we get him a full-out evaluation tomorrow,” explained Whittingham, who noted that procedures may include an MRI and x-rays.
“No further news other than we’re just hoping for the best,” Whittingham said.
