Camp update: Practice No. 6

The Utes began their first two-a-day with a morning session at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Head coach Kyle Whittingham said wide receiver Jereme Brooks had a nice practice and that cornerback Ryan Lacy appears to be a natural fit on defense, just two days after being moved over from wide receiver.
The offensive line, as a whole, also drew praise. Whittingham said they really came off the ball during a short-yardage period.
On the injury front, left tackle Zane Beadles (minor groin strain) and punter Sean Sellwood (hip flexor) were back on the practice field, albeit in limited action.
The second practice of the day is scheduled for this afternoon at the baseball field.
