Utes close, but fail to climb polls

Despite doubling up rival BYU on Saturday, Utah failed to move up in the major polls Sunday. The Utes are still seventh in the coaches poll and eighth in the AP Top 25.
They were close, however, to moving up in both rankings — trailing No. 6 Penn State by just four points in one and No. 7 Texas Tech by only six in the other.
