Live from San Diego!

A few observations from Qualcomm Stadium, approximately 15 minutes before kickoff.

* Judging by the vast amounts of empty seats, I wouldn’t be surprised if only 15,000 or so folks will work their way into the stadium.

* The Aztecs are wearing all black and look a lot like the Utes did against TCU — this applies to apparel only.

* The Utes’ final road trip has gone off without a hitch. No travel delays or anything like that.

* The weather is a a very San Diego-like 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. It’ll be dark, however, when the game starts.
