Johnson family OK; Key dressed

LOGAN — I had a chance to sepeak with Brian Johnson before the game and he indicated that his family in Baytown, Texas was safe after Hurricane Ike blew through his hometown. His parents didn’t make the trip to Logan and endured the storm at the family home. And aside from having a few trees down knocked down in the yard, Brian said all was well at the Johnson residence. Brian said he didn’t watch the news last night, which prominently featured Baytown, because there was nothing he could do about it.

KEY DRESSED: Junior college transfer Aiona Key has finally arrived. The wide receiver, who missed all of camp and the first three weeks of regular-season practices while waiting for his AA degree to be posted, is dressed for tonight’s game. He arrived in Salt Lake City Friday and will begin attending classes at the U. on Monday.
