Rankings? What rankings?

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham insists he isn’t worried about what this week’s AP and coaches polls will reveal. The Utes were on the verge of making both top 25 rankings in the preseason and could vault onto the listings with last Saturday’s 25-23 win at Michigan.
“If we play well each week then good things will happen,” Whittingham said after Monday’s light practice at the indoor facility. “It never hurts to be recognized, but that’s not our primary focus right now.”
