Camp report: Day 15, Session 2

After practicing this morning, the Utes started their preparations for Michigan with an hour-long afternoon practice at the practice field.

Quarterback Brian Johnson explained that this was like a Monday practice during the season and that Thursday’s would be a “grinder” like a Tuesday regular-season practice. On Monday the Utes will start over with a regular week, giving them, essentially, two full weeks preparing for Michigan.

Coach Kyle Whittingham said the Utes are as healthy as they’ve been for a couple of weeks and that the biggest concern was backup defensive tackle Aaron Tonga, who he hopes will be back by Monday.
