Urban Meyer hire

The Grand Rapids Press recently reported that former Utah coach Urban Meyer has reached into his past and hired a former player to join his staff at Florida.
Cole Magner, the last player Meyer signed after his first season at Bowling Green in 2001, has accepted a position as an unpaid assistant with the Gators.
Magner is currently a star receiver for the Arena Football League’s Grand Rapids Rampage.
“He called me up and wanted to know what I’d be doing in the offseason,” Magner told the newspaper. “I’ve always wanted to get into coaching since I played for my dad in high school. I can’t pass it up.”
The 25-year-old, who will work with Florida’s receivers and special teams, also plans to continue his career with the Rampage.
